It's been a (long) while since I last posted on this blog ... Last week, I was in Hollywood recording my first instructional DVD for the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Here is an excerpt.

Marc, great to see you again! I've been checking here since meeting you with Geordie over lunch-I've still go the reference pieces you gave me in my "inspiration" pile...I'll be checking back, and definitely buying the DVD when it's available.

Super admirable and inspirational work, I couldn't believe I actually met you in person at the CCS pre college back in 2009, at the the time i had no idea. Just today I realized wow, I actually met Marc Gabbana in person, one of the most inspiring artists I've ever seen. Thank you so much for the business card =D.
I enjoyed your post. It’s a lot like college – we should absorb everything we can but ultimately you need to take what you’ve learned and apply it.
